Фрисби фристайл является индивидуальным видом спорта, хотя существуют и командные состязания.
Цель — продемонстрировать красивую и зрелищную связку из трюков и финтов, которые можно выполнить с диском. В подавляющем большинстве случаев все трюки выполняются со вращающимся диском.
На соревнованиях все это оценивается судьями, которые ставят баллы за сложность трюков и артистизм.
